Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Every ToucanPDF tool runs entirely inside your browser using your device’s own processing power. Your file is read into memory, worked on locally, and handed back as a download — it never travels to us or anyone else. You can even go offline after the page loads and the tool still works.
Can I mix JPG and PNG images?
Yes. Add any combination of JPG and PNG files — each becomes a page in the final PDF, in the order you set.
Should I use “Fit to image” or A4?
“Fit to image” makes each page exactly the size of its picture — best for photos. A4 places each image on a standard printable page with margins — best if you’ll print the result.
